How it Works

How it Works

At Thriving Kids Therapy, we provide structured, personalised therapy plans delivered by trained assistants. This step-by-step process gives families clarity, consistency, and confidence throughout the initial 3-month set up and ongoing support journey.

1

Book a Free Consultation

We begin with a Zoom call to understand your child's developmental needs, daily routines, and support system. This initial chat helps us determine if we're a good fit.
2

In-Person Assessment

Two members of our team will meet in Vietnam to observe your child in natural settings such as home and school. We also meet with parents, teachers, and existing therapists.
3

Personalised Therapy Plan

We collaborate with your child's allied health team (e.g., OT, speech therapist, psychologist) to design a holistic, goal-based support plan tailored to your child's strengths and challenges.
4

Therapy Assistant Training

We help with the therapy assistant process and train them intensively. Training includes shadowing sessions, practical demonstrations, and written guidance.
5

Ongoing Support & Coaching

We provide weekly Zoom supervision, progress tracking, and strategy coaching for families, teachers, and assistants. You receive regular updates and can collaborate any time.
6

Review Visit & Transition Planning

At the end of 3 months, we return for a review visit. Together we reflect on your child's progress and develop a plan for the next phase of support.
Our Process

Our Process

Phase 01

Assessment & Planning

A detailed parent interview, input from existing therapists where relevant, and school observation — giving us a full picture and a personalised plan with clear, achievable goals.

Phase 02

Therapy Assistant Sourcing

Choose from our trained assistants matched to your child's needs, or select your own with our support. We recommend engaging two, for continuity.

Phase 03

Training & Ongoing Support

Assistants are trained with and without your child. Flexible scheduling, weekly Zoom support, and regular face-to-face reviews keep the plan responsive.

Meet the Founder

Yael Goldring

Mother | Advocate | Visionary

Yael Goldring is the founder of Thriving Kids Therapy — a program born from both professional insight and deeply personal experience. With a background in design engineering and a natural gift for structure and systems, Yael always believed that clarity and consistency can change lives. But it wasn't until life took her in an entirely new direction that this belief became her mission.

When her youngest daughter, Maya, was born with a rare genetic condition, Yael left her career behind to focus entirely on supporting her development. The early years were filled with uncertainty.

"That moment sparked a calling: to bring a new kind of therapy service to families who needed it most."

While traveling in Vietnam, Yael met children with additional needs and saw how limited the available support was — especially for international families. That moment sparked a calling: to bring a new kind of therapy service to families who needed it most.

Today, Thriving Kids Therapy creates personalised, real-life support plans for children with additional needs. Yael collaborates with therapists and schools, trains therapy assistants, and empowers families to feel confident, capable, and never alone on their journey.

Her mission is simple: to help children thrive — not only in therapy sessions, but in the moments that make up their everyday lives — and to ensure each child has the chance to reach their full potential.
